Surface preparation

Planers should be used where significant depths of concrete need to be removed or a strong mechanical key is required for the coating. A subsequent diamond grinding operation will improve the surface finish to accept a coating.

A Diamond Grinding system will create a smooth finish. Material removal rates with Diamond Grinders are modest, typically less than 1 mm on a single pass.

Dust Free Mobile Shotblasting is an effective method of removing coatings or keying a surface. High outputs can be achieved with the benefits of low noise and vibration.

Dust Control is an essential element of Concrete Surface Preparation. Most methods of surface preparation produce high levels of dust and considerable waste. Uncontrolled dust is both a safety hazard and a nuisance. Dust Free Power Tool Systems are used for surface preparation in small or restricted areas.

Various Mixing Systems are used, depending on the type and quantity of material being applied. These in turn require Finishing Tools, from screed sledges to trowels, rollers and spiked shoes. Consumables for all the above processes can be supplied.
