The EZE-Mag® system is a game changer - the diamond segments are secured in position by two powerful magnets. The segments are easily removed using the special tool provided (or simply
prised off with a screwdriver). No wasting precious time removing multiple bolts or hammering seized segments!
There is no risk of damage to segments or flexible drive couplings from hammer blows. Damage to dovetails and tapers during transportation and storage is completely avoided.
The powerful magnets provide additional safety and security if the machine is accidentally tipped backwards while the head is still revolving. A force of around 10kgs is required to remove the segment from the magnets.
The drive ‘dowels’ are standard M6 cap head screws which can simply be unscrewed and replaced when worn.
For customers who prefer the traditional 3 screw fixing system, the EZE-Mag® diamond segments are drilled and tapped to be fully interchangeable with our original system.
