Used Delta II 400V Concrete Grinder – 8kW Star-Delta

This Contec Delta II concrete grinder is being sold as a used machine and has been tested in our workshop.

The machine has been run under power and operates as expected. It is fitted with an 8kW 400V motor controlled via a star-delta starter, reducing starting current on suitable supplies. An integrated phase inverter is also fitted, allowing the motor rotation to be corrected quickly if the incoming supply has the incorrect phase sequence.

The couplings appear to be in good condition and the grinder is supplied complete with a 32A 400V extension cable and a set of part-used 8-4 diamond segments already fitted.

The Delta II is a proven twin-head planetary grinder, designed for contractors undertaking concrete grinding, coating removal and general surface preparation.

Condition

Electrical testing has been carried out on the motor using appropriate test equipment, with results indicating the motor is in good working condition.

The machine has also been run in our workshop and operates as expected during testing. The couplings appear to be in good condition and the machine shows only cosmetic wear consistent with normal commercial use.

As with all used equipment, the machine is sold as seen with no warranty supplied.
