CT350 Farmyard Groover / Planer / Scabbler

CT350 Farmyard groover is based on the original "350" machine designed for larger cow sheds and dairy farms when the smaller CT200 simply did not have the performance required. The present CT350 machine is the result of over thirty years use and development resulting in a strong, reliable machine well capable of a high output day after day and always with superb reliability and minimal running costs. Powered by a Honda 13hp engine and with an effective working width of 350mm the CT350 machine will meet most customers requirements. Special heavy duty grooving drums are available with equally spaced flanges to give ten neat grooves 6-7mm wide per pass. Different groove spacings and widths are possible using the standard cutter drum assembly and hardened spacer washers. All our tungsten tipped cutters, flail shafts and spacer washers are manufactured in Germany by our partners of over thirty years. As a result we rarely have to apologise for poor quality and we can easily justify a slightly higher price than our competitors! As with most things in this life you get what you pay for and there are few free meals along the way! Our consumables will last longer, work better and deliver higher productivity with greatly reduced downtime.

Accurate depth of cut adjustment is provided by a fine hand wheel while a quick action raise / lower lever automatically returns the grinding head to a preset depth of cut for a uniform finish.

The CT350 is relatively easy to transport, can be operated in confined areas, has simple controls and can be operated after only a minimum of training. The CT350 is built to withstand typical on site abuse. Maintenance and service are simple and straightforward without the need for special tools. The durable HTD toothed drive belt can be changed by simply undoing a single bolt on the belt tensioner - literally a two minute job!

An electric 7.5kW version is available to order. Advantages include low noise, low vibration, low running costs (mains supply or red diesel generator) An electric motor will typically have a life expectancy of around five years hard use. The Honda petrol engine is a quality, reliable product but it will need constant attention with regard to cleaning / changing of air filters and changing engine oil - be aware grooving is a very hard, dusty application!
