For more demanding grooving applications we also supply Premium grade “A” shafts to order. These cutter shafts typically deliver up to twice the standard life. The raw material is very expensive and the production process is involved and complicated therefore your investment is higher. The "A" grade shafts have been proven to save contractors money for more than twenty five years. Please note they are produced to order and we do require "minimum" quantities for all except the most popular sizes.

All cutter shafts are checked for accuracy and hardness during the manufacturing process.

Please note it is false economy to use poor quality flail/cutter shafts. They will wear out very quickly or even break resulting in accelerated wear of the cutter drum flanges also costing extra non productive downtime mid contract.
